I'm sorry everyone; after the last debacle on the other list that caused me
some issues, I didn't realize I hadn't told you all I began work June 1st as
an independent Living Specialist with the Coalition for Independence in
Kansas City, Kansas.
We serve a largely minority population who have, or appear to have other
issues, that make employment more difficult for them--not to mention, they
are in the poorest county in Kansas bordered in the north by the richest
county in Kansas.
Sorry again, friends; you have all been of immeasurable help in keeping me
encouraged and my ideas fresh in looking for work. I am also studying the
Hadley School's Entrepreneurship curriculum, too.

Darla,
I didn't know that you have found work. Where do you work?

We want to start a peer mentoring program where I work; I have some material
some of you have shared with the list, but I'd appreciate knowing about any
experiences--what works; what doesn't and why--how you ran your programs or
anything else you think this novice program creator should know.
