I would also be inclined to agree with Sharon. Regardless of what the 
original diagnosis was, you have a history of orthopedic issues which makes 
it unwise for you to do certain things. Sometimes these diagnoses rely on 
clinical judgments which different doctors make differently on the 
borderlines. A diagnosis is never intended to become part of a person's 
identity; and if surgery was helpful to you in enabling you to ditch the 
orthotic this is certainly a good thing in your life now. *smile*
