[acb-hsp] New to the group with questions

Hi. I really think you'll be much happier with a stationary location,
Angelina, and I"d insist on it. I think your advisor will be happier with
it, too, honestly. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine an advisor doing
it any other way. Now, I suspect internship placement, given your location,
may not be easy, so absolutely start moving on it. Also, now is not too
early to start thinking about application to grad school or where you might
attend. I know this feels a little overwhelming but even though you apply
at a few, you'll still then just have time to focus on your studies because
they'll just process your applications, and you'll return to your present
life. <smiles>
What you don't want to do is wait 'til the last minute, then all the
financial aid slots be taken, all the classes be filled and you cannot get
your books on time. <smiles>
But really, you cannot get much in the way of work with a BSW--not without
real good sight, and even then, they struggle beyond case management, group
home workers.
What are your career aspirations anyway?
Stay well!

Thank you all for your wise practical advice and input. I'm attending
Shippensburg University which is in South Central Pennsylvania. I've
considered going on for my Masters but I have to first get through
this internship in the fall. :)
I will talk with my adviser about stationary locations around the
area. I'm sure I'll have more questions to come in the future.
