Hi. If I am at convention, I will attend if food is offered or not--either way. I don't need to be fed to attend. And, of course, I'll pay for the food if it is offered as I have no expectation that others pay my way.
If I am present, and if I am much further into dissertation than I am now, I will run for office.
Sorry I cannot be more of the "concrete planner" but that's my life right now.

Subject: [acb-hsp] ACB Human Service Convention Planning
Hi Folks,
I’m planning for the 2013 ACB Human Service Professionals Program.
I would like to know how many people plan to attend convention this summer.
I also wish to know how many would attend a business meeting. After talking with our proposed speaker and attending a conference planning conference call, I have chosen Tuesday Evening, July 9th, from 5:45 to 7 for our business meeting.
We could have a break meal since this may fall during your dinner hour.
We have important issues to discuss such as:
Speakers: Ardis Bayzon and George Holiday from the Membership Committee wil talk with us about membership revival and affiliate growth.
Discussion to follow:
Will we continue as an affiliate and try to build our affiliate?
Will anyone stand for election?
If so, hold elections for all offices: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Program Coordinator.
Would you attend if food is provided?
Would you pay for a meal if offered?
Please reply by April 8th if you have thoughts on this so I can turn in our information for the Convention Preregistration.
Thanks So Much,
Darian Slayton Fleming
ACB-HSP President
