Hello, I am presently taking classes in the graduate program in
rehabilitation counseling through the University of Kentucky. I must
complete a 200 hour practicum, and a 600 hour internship. I have applied
with the state of Georgia and have heard from two counties that they can't
host me as an internship. I am awaiting an answer from several other
counties. I realize that most rehab offices are very busy. Adding more to a
counselor's list may not work for all offices. I also wondered how any of
you who use Jaws do filling out Word forms. My college has several forms
where Jaws says check box checked, not checked but I can't read the text box
which would tell me what I was checking or not checking. I looked at Freedom
Sccientific and see that there is a way to make forms accessible in Word. I
have forwarded this information to my college. Any help would be
appreciated. I just wanted to try and get something set up for the 200 hour
practicum for summer so I could work out transportation. Since I am totally
blind and live in a rural county, I may have to travel a bit in order to get
to a rehab office. Thanks for any advice.
