Hello, I was wondering if you’d be able to help me distribute something so I can get more information from consumers who are blind and visually impaired. I work at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln in the Blindness and Visual Impairment program. My colleague, Gina Causin, works with hospitality, restaurant, and tourism management. We are curious how sensitive and informed meeting and event planners are to individuals who are blind. We were hoping you could help us find out a little more information by distributing the attached cover letter and survey. If you would be willing to share it on any mailing lists or listserves you belong to (or with friends and colleagues), I would greatly appreciate it. The documents are accessible Word documents, but if anyone would prefer a paper braille copy or other format, they just need to let me know. Our hope is that we will be able to present our findings at conferences to raise the awareness of meeting and event planners.
