Hi Darien,

I will be coming to the convention.  Last year I didn't come to our meeting 
because of a conflict with another organization for which I was program 
Committee Chairman.  I am not planning to chair their program committee this 
year.  I am not sure which days would work best for me  for the meeting.  In 
The past, Monday and Wednesday were not good for me.  I guess with the 
change in schedule this year Sunday and Tuesday would be bad.  That is guess 
work.

I am not able to take on an office at this time.  I am President of the 
District of Columbia Council at this point.  We haven't had our planning 
meeting in relation to delegates etc yet.  Usually the President is the 
delegate. If that is the case I would be in the room so probably could serve 
as alternate if there isn't any problem with my doing it.

I really wish you success in getting this affiliate moving again.  I know 
how difficult it can be to be President of an affiliate that needs a lot of 
work.

I hope you get more response than you did last year.  No matter what else 
happens, I think the list is very important and can be of real help to 
people trying to get started in the field.

On March 12th, Janet Dickelman is holding a conference call to discuss 
convention matters; I plan to attend.

In addition, I must have program plans in by April and May.  I am thinking 
of these issues and require your input.

First of all, if you’re planning to attend conference this July, would you 
reply and let me know this?

Secondly, if you would serve as alternate delegate, please let me know?  I 
will serve as delegate and nominating committee person.

I wish to hold a business meeting to discuss organizational issues and have 
elections.

Please elt me know which days of the week would be already taken for you and 
the other involvements you have.

Also, do you have any topics of interest if we have a program?  Plese share 
these with me.

If you would run for an office, please advise me of this as well.

This is very important, and I want to meet as many needs as possible.
