I used to sew by Touch. I don't sew anymore. Just when I was in School and had a Sewing Class.

  Yes, I do know people who sew who are blind and visually impaired.  My mother once could see well enough to sew using her vision, and then she had to learn to sew by touch when she lost her vision.  There are a number of ways to make sewing a viable hobby for blind people.
