Lions Clubs have for many years helped countless people in hundreds of ways.

Has a Lion or a Lions Club helped you obtain glasses or technology? Has
your local club sponsored your bowling team, supported your affiliate of ACB
in some way, or helped with transportation? Has your local club helped a
blind student go to college or purchased equipment for your state school for
the blind? Has your local club given you a chance to participate as a
member in community activities or service projects?

On this week's Sound Prints we are devoting the entire show to Lions and
Lionism. The Louisville Downtown Lions Club is celebrating its 90th
anniversary, and the club is a major sponsor of Sound Prints. The club also
provided the funds to purchase additional ALD systems for the ACB convention
in 2008, and it has given generously to many other projects that touch blind
and visually impaired people.

On this occasion, and also as a way to begin celebrating the 40th
anniversary of the American Council of Blind Lions, we are asking you to
participate in our show.

No matter where you live, you are invited to call and share how a Lion or
Lions Club has helped you. Your story can be very simple or very complex.

To be on this week's show, call tonight (Wednesday, September 22) between
7:00 and 7:45 p.m. Eastern Time. The number is 502-571-1080.

If you live outside of the broadcast area, you will be able to hear the show
on the KCB website at www.kentucky-acb.org beginning on Thursday, September
23; on ACB Radio Mainstream on Sunday night and throughout the day on Monday
(www.acbradio.org); and on the Central Kentucky Radio Eye at 2:00 p.m.
Eastern on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.

We look forward to talking to you on this week's Sound Prints.
