You on this list have a real opportunity. Many of you pay your dues at the
convention when we have our annual meeting. Presently, many of you are paid
for the year up to the convention. Dues start with the convention making it
legal for you to vote at our annual meeting. So the dues collector won't
have quite as much to do at the convention, you can send in dues to me right
now. You will be paid up to the 2011 convention that way. Those of you who
have just paid, you are good until convention 2011.
If any of you know someone who is not yet paid up for this year, get them to
communicate with me immediately, email or phone call, so I can know their
check is coming very soon. That way, I can get them on our membership list
that I am sending in on Friday, March 12 around noon.
Currently, we have 41 members. That gives us two floor votes at the
convention.
Here is what I need to know for the membership records, some for the
national and all of it for ACBRA records:
1 Full name and callsign if any
2 Address
3 City, state, zip
4 phone number(s)
5 Preferred email address
6 If you are legally blind
7 What format do you want your Braille Forum in or if you even want it
NOTE: Many of us get it by email.
Dues for the year are a mere $10.
