[acbra] radio for 420 Mhz

I know the repeater here in Fort worth on 423.975 covers very well. It has
been on the air for several years now. I have a Alinco DJ-C4T but it's only
300 Mh. I am looking for something with a bit more power.

Wow, that's very strange since that region of the 70CM band is essentially
reserved for ATV activity, and also is, in several areas, severely limited
vis a vis power output to protect military usage. The amateur allocation at
70CM is actually a secondary allocation, though there's no real practical
problems resulting from that status for operation above 430MHz.

Hi we have a couple of repeaters in the area that operate in the 420 Mhz
part of the band. Does anyone know of a hand held on the market that will
transmit that low? It seems like they cut off just above or only receive
that low.
Thanks and 73 Blake KA5POW
