Some good news on the DVS on DVD front for this Wednesday afternoon...

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (rated PG, Twentieth Century Fox DVD and Blu-ray release) is now confirmed to have an optional DVS (English Descriptive Audio) track. This film is currently the bestselling DVD on amazon.com

Green Zone (rated R, Universal Home Video DVD and Blu-ray release, starring Matt Damon) is also confirmed to have the optional DVS track.

And for those attending the 49th Annual American Council of the Blind Conference and Convention in Phoenix in a few weeks, do try to get to the open described screening of It's Complicated starring Meryl Streep, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.  Even if you already have the DVD, it's fun to enjoy a comedy with a big audience. The movie will be shown on Monday evening, May 12 at the conference hotel.
