    A year in the making, the DVD of the groundbreaking and historic exhibition
last fall at the San Francisco Public Library, Celebrating
Fabulous/Activist Bay Area Lesbians with Disabilities: A 40 Year
Retrospective, *is finished!!!



We are offering a special pre-rollout limited edition DVD for a donation of
$25 to you, our supporters and friends of Fabled Asp.



If you were lucky enough to see the exhibition itself at the library last
year, you know how exciting it was to have Fabulous Activist Bay Area
Lesbians with Disabilities visible and honored for our contributions to
history. But, as wonderful as the exhibition was, there was a lot we
couldn't include. The DVD changes that.



The DVD has excerpts from video and audio interviews, digital stories,
transcripts and more, featuring disabled lesbians and allies like Diane
Sabin, Judy Freespirit, Kitty Cone, Corbett O'Toole, Elana Dykewoman,
Judith Smith, Valerie Brown, Marion Abdullah, Jill Lessing, Laura Rifkin,
Morningstar Vancil, Patty Overland, Laura Bock and many others.



The DVD highlights founders and members of pioneering organizations like
Fat Chance, Wry Crips, AXIS Dance Company, the Bay Area Meteorites. There's
a moving narration written and spoken by Judith Masur along with stunning
images from renowned photographers such as Cathy Cade, Sharie Cohen, Lynda
Koolish, and Jane Philomen Cleland.



The DVD includes the first ever Disabled Lesbian Historical Timeline from
the 1960's to 2010 (of course it's a work in progress). No one has ever
attempted this task and it is monumental.



The DVD has all this and much more.
