Only days remain before the April 1 Durward K. McDaniel First Timer applications are due in the ACB national office.  If you know of someone you think would be a deserving candidate, please encourage them to submit the requisite letters of  nomination and application very quickly.  As Melanie Brunson announced earlier today, all DKM application materials should be forwarded to the attention of Sharon Lovering:
slovering at acb.org.  

For specific details regarding the DKM program, eligibility requirements and the application and evaluation processes, please refer to the January and March editions of The Braille Forum.


The annual DKM reception recognizing the 2012 first timers will be Thursday, July 12, from 5 to 7 pm in the Presidential Suite.  Remember to purchase your reception tickets when pre-registering.
