Hi everyone,
IF the legislation below is not passed, Massachusetts and 30 other states will be forced to make yet more cuts to services that will adversely impact persons with disabilities as well as many other residents who depend on medicaid and Medicare.
Scott brown needs to hear from each and every one of you. I called his office today and his aid told me that he still hasn't decided which way he will vote on this one. One hundred calls could make a very big difference.

Please call and email Scott Brown today!!

Governor Patrick has announced that unless Congress approves new FMAP money, Massachusetts faces $600 million in additional budget cuts.

These cuts would have a devastating impact on many programs, including MassHealth, Commonwealth Care, Health Safety Net, and several other programs.

Other members of the Massachusetts Congressional Delegation have indicated their support for FMAP appropriations. Senator Brown has not said which way
he will vote.

Call Senator Brown TODAY: (202) 224-4543 or (617) 565-3170

Email the Massachusetts Congressional Delegation today!

Without swift enactment of a six-month FMAP extension, Massachusetts will be forced to make very deep cuts in programs, including home and community based
services, supported employment, dental care and even basic health care.

Congress must pass the FMAP extension NOW.

The American Jobs and Closing Tax Loopholes Act (H.R. 4213) contains a 6-month FMAP extension. This bill will be voted on as soon as this week by the
House of Representatives.

What to say:
. May I please speak to the staff person who covers health?
. I am calling to urge Representative/Senator to vote for HR 4213, the American Jobs and Closing Tax Loopholes Act.
. People with disabilities depend on Medicaid for their very survival. Without an extension of the Medicaid FMAP increase contained in the bill, we will
lose vital services.

Thank you in advance for your advocacy.
