Shelly, although I haven't used the thumb drive for this machine, I have 
used thumb drive's for downloading and saving data off of my computer and 
then transfering it to my Lap Top. It stores all that you wish it to but 
will only read it one at a time. That is the only thing thing I can think of 
it doing. Perhaps your assumption is correct however and that is to only be 
able to download one book at a time. KH

I am a little puzzled about that. I was told that one could use a thumb
drive, but you could only have one book on at a time, since the machine
could only see one book. How do you get from one book to the next on the
thumb drive with your NLS machine?
