[fcb-l] Counties with Para Transit?

Hi Michael,

Leon county has Para transit and our range is also 3/4 miles out side the main bus route.  As far as I know the 3/4 mile rule is a federal requirement and I have never heard of any system that goes farther.  Good luck but I don't think it is going to happen.

The state TDC commission is the agency that provides service out side the city range so you might have better luck with them.  We use to get county service during nights and weekends but with all the state budget cuts and population growth, only people going to work and medical trips get it now. If scot gets his way and cuts medicade, it will get even worse.  The 73 million he spent on his campaign sure would have went a long way for transportation for the disabled.

  I need some ammo, as we are putting together a way to extend our Para transit eligibility rule from 3/4 mile out to 2 miles.
  I'd like to call every Para transit in Florida and ask what their eligibility requirements are.

  I tried googling it, but came up empty.
  I know its out there, somewhere.

  If someone can give me a link to the state's list, I'd really appreciate it.
