with Captain Scotty Smiley. Captain Smiley is a ranger, combat diver,
qualified infantryman, and was the army's first active-duty blind officer
and its first blind company commander. The Army Times named Captain Smiley
"Soldier of the Year" in 2007 and in 2008 he won the ESPY as Best Outdoor
Athlete. Captain Smiley lost the use of both eyes when a suicide car bomber
blew himself up thirty meters in front of Scotty's "Stryker" vehicle. For
more details on his amazing story, make sure you tune into GW Insider on May
23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
To access the GW Insider, you will simply need to go to
