[fcb-l] New to the list.

HI all!

I'm Vicki, and I just joined this list a few days ago. I am not a 
member of the ACB, or the NFB at the moment. Years ago I was a member 
of the ACB. I believe that was about 12 years ago or around there. I 
just let it laps, because I lived in Kalamazoo Michigan when I was a 
member, and when I moved to Flint they didn't seem to have as much 
involvement, so I didn't continue.

I'm originally from Michigan, but moved to Florida a year ago. I live 
in Tampa. I first stayed with friends in Brandon for 3 months.

I am 39, and I live with a roommate who is also visually impaired. I 
have a leader dog named Gillis, and a cat named Lucky. Gillis is 
semiretired, as he's 11 in a half, but thankfully still healthy. His 
eye site is going, though. I mean he can still see, but they say the 
cloudy in the eyes issue that happens to them as they get older is 
happening to him. His eyes look cloudy, and I am told it's a slow 
deterioration there eyes can get, but normal to older dogs. I know he 
can't see as well as he use too, because he'll step on my feet when we 
walk sometimes, like he can't see them or something. So I don't dare 
work him like on the streets and things.

Anyways, enough from me for now. I just thought I'd introduce myself.
