[fcb-l] Renting in Tampa?

One of the places on Tampa that I was very much interested in is owned by the Presbyterian Church.  I can see the building has several units on the ground floor for handicapped people of ant age but it sounds like the handicap must be a type that requires wheelchair use.  Rather than call I sent them a letter briefly stating my case.  I felt I could say more in a letter than I could on the phone especially if whoever answered was feeling rushed.  I hope to hear from them next week.  If not I'll call.  Thanks so much for your post - it gives me hope that maybe they will indeed consider my blindness as a qualified handicap.
