Hello All,

I wanted to share information about the upcoming Salem Dog Walk, sponsored by Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, that will be held on June 10, 2012 starting at 1pm.    Please read below for more information as well as reviewing the attached press release for more information. This notice was distributed to chairs of commissions on disability and Carl Richardson and I received it from that listserv.

The Salem Dog Walk will be held Sunday afternoon June 10, beginning at 1:00 PM on the Salem Common. The Walk will begin and end on the Salem Common with the trail taking walkers and dogs through the heart of downtown Salem.



As a special feature this year, the Walk will incorporate a Self Guided Tour. This will prove especially interesting to folks new to Salem but we guaranteed that even longtime Salem residents will learn something new about the architecture, history and mystique that make Salem a destination city for people from around the world.



People may register as individual walkers or they may register a team. To register go to www.fidelco.org<http://www.fidelco.org/> and click on the Salem Dog Walk. Registration costs as little as $10.00 with all money going to the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, New England's only guide dog organization.



The Salem Dog Walk Committee has set a goal of making this the biggest and best attended dog walk in the state. We encourage anyone with a dog (or even a virtual dog) to join us on June 10, and help us help Fidelco Share the Vision.
