[glcb] committee changes

The following changes have been made to the GLCB committees.  I hope to have
more announcements within a few days.

Membership:

Ed Phillips has been asking for help with the telephone effort, and Bill 
Deatherage
has agreed to lend a hand.  Bill is now a member of the Membership
Committee.  Thanks, Bill.

Advocacy:

Donna Wheeler has volunteered to join the Advocacy Committee.  It is always
very much appreciated when someone steps forward and volunteers for
committee work.

Fundraising and Budget:

A huge thanks to Angie McCarty for serving as the chair of this committee
for the past year.  Jim Shaw is the incoming chair of the Fundraising and
Budget Committee, and Angie will serve as Vice Chair with specific duties
related to the May yard sale.  Since Jim is the GLCB Treasurer, I hope to 
incorporate a few budget functions into the committee work this coming year.

Information and Publicity:

A big thanks to Mary Bartley for her work as chair of this committee.
Mary has notified me that she will not be continuing as chair of this
committee, and so I have asked Kristi Sykes to assume this chairmanship.
Kristi has graciously accepted, and will be assuming those duties with this
month's meeting on Tuesday evening, October 12.

Activities and Projects:

Adam Ruschival is no longer serving on the Activities Committee, as I am
trying to limit each person's assignments to no more than two committees. 
Adam will
remain on the Fundraising and Membership Committees.

There is plenty of room on most of the committees for more folks.  If you 
would like to join one or two committees, or if you are on a GLCB committee 
and would like to move to another one, please email or call me and let me 
know.  Most of the time I can add you to the committee(s) of your choice.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help and support.  Together we can make 
GLCB even stronger.
