Subject: [leadership] August tapes

A number of cassette Forum readers have called here reporting a problem with side 2 of the August tapes. I just spoke with Potomac Talking Book regarding this, and it turns out that the true problem was one of timing. Usually the Forum runs 28 ½ minutes, and ACB Reports has been running about 30 minutes. To balance the timing on the tape, they have to look carefully at the sentences and paragraphs to figure out where to break it without breaking up sentences or urgent information. For the August tape, side 2, you need to fast forward about 2 minutes to get to where the reading starts. The last batch of August tapes was sent out the 25th of August, and that's why some of you may not have them yet. If you have not yet received your August tape, please hold tight 'til Monday, and if you don't get it then, please let me know. Thanks.
