Isn't it interesting that the same attorney is involved here who was working for the people who built the condominiums between Bellaire and Vernon? Paul Witty doesn't seem to ever be on the side of the neighborhood residents.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) - People can't live without their cell phones, but residents in one Crescent Hill neighborhood say they can live without a 150-foot
cell phone tower going up in their backyards. The proposal has drawn outrage and criticism from residents who say they plan to fight it every step of the
way.
In the shadow of the Masonic temple smokestack, a 150-foot battle is taking shape. "They want a cell phone that works, but they don't want to see a
cell tower. You just can't have it both ways," says property attorney Paul Whitty. The tower is drawing fire from neighbors. The owners of the Village
Manor apartment complex are hoping the planning commission will approve a cell tower right in the corner of their property. An attorney for the group says
while a 150-foot tower is hard to conceal, this location was the best choice. "It's the corner of the property, and it's shielded by some tall trees and
vegetation lines and a billboard along railroad tracks," says Whitty .
Whitty says the existing trees will conceal much of the tower as well as a nearby billboard, but across Fenley Avenue, neighbors aren't buying it. "To
have a huge cell phone tower, that's going to be over the trees and you'll be able to see it through the trees and its gonna be visible from Frankfort
Avenue. It's just a big eyesore," says Miner
Residents here worry their property values will decline. They're circulating a petition and calling on elected leaders to stop it. Residents even plan
to take their protests directly to the planning commission. "We are gonna make our voice heard as best as possible," says Miner.
