Nothing is ever totally settled until the project is complete.
This south side problem with the gas station is a separate
project.

Subject: [glcb] Debate over Brownsboro Road traffic continues
LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The debate over traffic on a section
of Brownsboro Road continues. Despite several meetings with city
officials, the group save42.org
still believes reducing the four-lane section of road to two
lanes plus a turn lane will hurt businesses and endanger the
lives of pedestrians.
Wednesday they announced two alternatives just presented to
Mayor Greg Fischer. The group wants to put pedestrian lights at
two locations around the Kroger
store and make the middle turn lane reversible during rush
hour.
James Dahlem of save42.org says, "That means we would be
allowing morning rush hour traffic to have two lanes going into
the city and then that would be
reversed."
The group is also asking the Metro Council to adopt an
ordinance that would require projects like this to have written
notices sent to those affected, economic
impact studies, and public meetings.
