[idaho-connection] July convention dates

Yah and I want to brag about the Information Access Committee Meeting on Saturday afternoon, typically called the 4 1 1 from the IAC, lots of great stuff to look for from the Women's concerns Committee including yoga, self defense, reinventing yourself and more; and if that's not enough, the PR Committee is going to do a seminar on guerilla marketing for your affiliate, and the Multi Cultural Affairs Committee is putting together a fabulous program on sharing our heritage. I only know about these because I serve as officer liaison from the Board to these various committees. I hope I'm not forgetting anybody, LOL!

But we always have so much to do at convention, never mind all the social things and the fabulous auction! Woohoo!

The convention runs from the 9th to the 16th. It starts on Sat. with the ACB board meeting and some seminars in the afternoon. On Sat. afternoon, exhibits start. Other affiliates, the ACB Walk, and exhibits are on Sun. Sunday night is the first ACB general session. Mon. through Fri., the ACB sessions are in the mornings after some breakfasts by other groups, and in the afternoons are affiliate (special interest) meetings, seminars, etc. On the second Sat. is the ACB postconvention board meeting and some tours. Most people come in on Friday evening or Sat. and leave the following Sat. so they can go to the Fri. night banquet. Hope this helps.

Subject: [idaho-connection] July convention dates

Hi all,
I am getting mixed messages for the actual date of the convention in Reno. When is the best day to arrive and when is it really over.
If we might need to be there for the pre stuff, when would that be? I would like to make reservations soon. Maybe I should wait until after this weekend?
Thanks for any info,
Lori
