Please take action NOW!  Remember, there is a two-hour time difference between Washington D.C. and Idaho so things are moving faster than you anticipate and your action is critical.  This bill would actually not create new jobs as claimed by Senator Portman, but actually just shifts jobs from blind vendors to anyone/everyone who wants to pursue them and essentially eliminates the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) as defined by the Randolph- Shephard Act. It is crucial you call your Senators today. The 
governors are now pushing for the Portman amendment so they don't have to give 
commissions to rehab and can decide on commercialization. Please stress this 
loss of jobs or shifting of jobs would hurt the economy more than help it. This 
lack of foresight will hurt the RS Program overall.
