Comments requested on the Federal Communications Commission's National Broadband Internet Plan
As a part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the "stimulus bill"), The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is working on a National
Broadband Plan. In developing The National Broadband Plan, the FCC will attempt to determine how to make high-speed broadband Internet access more accessible
and affordable, how to ensure that broadband is available all over the country, and how to use broadband to enhance public safety, education, entrepreneurial
activity, job creation, and economic growth, and other national purposes.
If you would like to help the FCC develop the National Broadband Plan, you may be interested in visiting IdeaScale.com. At IdeaScale, you can give your
ideas on how to improve the country's broadband Internet, comment on other people's ideas, and vote for your favorite ideas.
