Luis,

Sometimes I have a similar issue. I usually manage to get the document to
open by doing one of the following things.

1. ALT-TAB away and then back to the document.
2. Change your cursor and then change it back.
3. RIGHT click using the RIGHT click button on the number pad.

I experienced this problem when I was on JAWS 7 8 and 9. I do not remember
noticing it in JAWS 10 or 11.

You may also want to check if you can with the person who created the
document. PDF documents will also display this behavior when they are
improperly created, without the accessibility features. Adobe tries to
convert them, but the hooks it needs are missing.

Thanks, William

Subject: [indiana-l] Opening a pdf document

Good Morning everyone, I have an off topic question, recently, I encountered
a PDF file that I wasn't able to open. When I tried opening it it has given
me 2 messages, one is processing document, but it doesn't open it and it
just stays there and the other is there is no document available or some
thing to that effect.

I haven't figured out how to transfer it over to kertweil 1,000 or is there
another way to open it and put it into text?

Suggestions would be appreciated.

thank You in advance.

Peace
Luis
