Hi Rita,
I am sending check for $15.00 for one book- mailing tomorrow. Lakota has a
meeting on January 12, so I'll share the information with the group then.
Hopefully, the book will have arrived and I'll have it with me so they can
check it out for themselves.
Please send it to:

Hi Sue,
The book is for varying degrees of vision loss. It's appropriate for newly
visually impaired, but is also good for long-time impaired folks, too.
There are tips and techniques for all aspects of life to help make us more
independent. From tips in the kitchen to changing a tire as a person who is
blind. There are also lots of resources at the end. The book is divided
into two parts--Low Vision and Blind. Some ideas can be useful to people
with low vision even though it's included in the blind part of the book.
I have the large print for $15 and hope to have CD copies and eventually
some braille copies. I'm giving one to my doctor, whose dad has macular
degeneration.
Hope this info helps answer your questions.
Rita

Good morning Rita,
I did go into xlibris to see if there was an overview or preview to read,
but there wasn't anything there.
Is this book for newly blinded persons or for anyone with vision loss?
Is it written for varying levels of vision loss or more for total blindness?
What types of issues are addressed?
I will probably get at least one, but am trying to decide if it would be an
appropriate gift for a couple of my blind friends as well.
Thanks,
Sue L'Esperance

Hello all of my Indiana and Mississippi ACB friends,
I'm offering this to you before I offer it to the general visually impaired
community.
I have large print copies of my book, "Pathway to Independence: A guide for
people with vision loss" if anyone is interested in purchasing one at a
lower cost than the on-line price.
I'm offering the book for $15 per copy, compared to the on-line price of
$20.99.
If you would like a copy, send a check or money order made out to me at:
Rita Kersh
1820 G St.
Bedford, IN 47421
I should be able to mail the book FREE MATTER, since it's in large print.
I'm also in the process of arranging to have the book recorded on CD and
brailled. More information about these formats will be forthcoming.
Thanks and Happy New Year!
Rita
