Ardis,

If the relationship with the neighbor isn't too confrontational, it might
be worth trying to talk to the neighbor in an attempt to determine his/her
main complaint.  Then, attempt to work an agreement that will resolve the
main complaint.  If it is because the computer tech has a vending machine
in his front yard, then, it certainly is a lot easier to simply eliminate
the vending machine than completely move.  Unfortunately, often these
situations get so confrontational that trying to carry out a rational
discussion and negotiations and resolution is extremely difficult, if not
impossible.  I always try to work things out in a civil manner as my first
approach to a resolution, hoping something can be resolved before it turns
into a war of irrational egos!
