Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 can be a powerful tool for designing and delivering presentations;
but as a presenter who is visually impaired, have you passed over using it because
of difficulty navigating the process? If so, then this presentation is for you and
for all those who want to spruce up their presentations using PowerPoint.
Join Seminars at Hadley as Hadley Instructor Amy Salmon presents Part 1 of the PowerPoint
for Blind Presenters series: Preparing Powerful Presentations. Designed for the presenter
who is using screen reading software to access PowerPoint 2010, this seminar is for
anyone from the beginning user to the advanced user. In this seminar, you will learn
how to:
Create slides and text
Select a layout, insert a picture and apply a theme
Navigate and use the outline and thumbnail views in the creation process
Change the size and position of slide elements
Format the presentation and use the Spell Check feature
Create speaker notes
Finalize your slides and notes
Note: This seminar will use PowerPoint 2010, which is quite a bit different than
earlier versions. If you are not currently using PowerPoint 2010, please be aware
that all features and functions demonstrated in the seminar may not work the same
in your version.
This 60 minute seminar will be moderated by Hadley Ambassador Billy Brookshire
.
