This message is a reminder of your subscription to the Mountain State Discussion

List and the rules and expectations thereof.  The purpose of this list is to discuss and support the Mountain State Council of the Blind. Other things such as blindness related tips, topics, products and activities that you are doing as a person with vision impairment or with a family of someone with vision impairment will be of interest.  We will also share information from our national American Council of the Blind office to keep you informed, e.g., legislation, up-to-date information, etc.

 

Please observe the following guidelines:

If you want the moderator / owner of the list only to read your post, send it to:

In order to maintain a positive and supportive discussion environment, please keep the following in mind: 

 

  1.. Please make the subject line reflect the content of your email.
  2..  Remain on topic when replying to previous posts or change the subject line.
  3.. We welcome discussion of any products that may serve as valuable items to increase the independence of blind and visually impaired people; or, if you are shopping and find something new or new to you and find it to be helpful, share it with us too.
  4.. No profane language or flaming will be tolerated. You are free to disagree with the subject. You are not free to disrespect the poster in any way.
  5.. Agency or facility bashing is not accepted on this list.
  6.. Spam will not be accepted.
  7.. When forwarding, please remove all headers and other email addresses on your posts. Those who are asked to do this more than once will be unsubscribed from the list. The reason is because it is how spammers are getting innocent people's emails to then bombard them with unwanted spam.
