Hi. That is probably your safest bet, unless you can find out the serial number for sure. That is unless you don't really want to 
play NLS books. The older model works great for music, MPCs, txt files and a few other formats, but man! was it a heck of a shock 
to learn, straight from Humanware, that my victor will not, in fact, play NLS books. <sigh>
