Hi. Many of you knew my swet Noah. He was my beautiful chocolate Labrador Pilot dog from February 2001 to May, 2009. I kept him then until the heartbreaking day after Thanksgiving when he went to live with my sister in Kansas. Noah had a very happy time in Kansas with Dianne and John, running in the fields, helping with the wood pile, lying by the fireplace, playing with their grandchildren and just being a happy, spoiled and very loved dog.

On New year's eve, he developed seizures that could not be controlled. On Sunday, he went to KS State University ICU and after many tests and MRI was found to have a rapidly growing meningioma. On Monday, Dianne and I made what was the most difficult decision. ON Tuesday morning, he died peacefully with Dianne and June with him. I spoke to Noah by phone and we are sure he recognized my voice.

This was fast, heart-wrenching and my precious boy will suffer no more. The University asked for permission to use his body for research which I gave so even in death he continues to serve as he did in life. They are making me, and Dianne, a cast of his beautiful paws. And Noah will forever live on in my heart.
