Paula, We are having a summer picnic in August. I think it is the 2nd Thursday in August but am sure Kathy will correct me. <LOL> I don't have my calendar with me now. I know we're having one, though.
And yes, next meeting in July is the 12th.
I hope Kate's schedule will go back to letting her off on Monday's.

sorry we couldn't make it to the June meeting folks. Kate's schedule has changed (for a while at least) and she works Mondays. But I think it'll go back to her normal Monday's off soon. Hey do you guys have a summer picnic or anything? like you have one for Christmas? so the next eeting is on the 12th of July?

Yes, I think Steve did a great job of presenting the information at our last TC meeting. And anyone who wants to participate can come up for the Saturday that we have the CPR/First aid instruction. We should be voting on the date at our next meeting.

Our next TC meeting is Monday, June 7 at Shoney's. Then we will be moving the meetings to the second Monday of each month at Shoney's. They also volunteered to have a dinner once a month to benefit TCMSCB. We have to provide fliers to post on the door and the manager said depending on the particular night, about $50 up to $120 goes to TCMSCB. But other than having a representative there, we don't have to sell tickets or coupons ahead or anything! John Birckhead has so graciously volunteered to be there for 4 hours and eat their buffet!!!! He'll do a wonderful job of it, as some of us know!! LOL!

We at TC also need to come and wish Carolyn, our wonderful TC Secretary and MSCB Webmaster a Happy Birthday (yah!) and a Bon Voyage (sob!) because she will soon be moving to Sunny FLA. Carolyn, if you don't like the Palmetto bugs, you can always return to the MBurg!

Hi. It would appear that TCMSCB members will have an opportunity to learn and be Certified in CPR / First Aid. We have been meeting with an individual who is Certified and he has more than generously volunteered time to do this and provide instruction. We need to finalize it, and Kathy might provide additional information to this; however, this will be happening in June / early July. It should be a really exciting opportunity for those interested.
My next goal is to get some self-defense safety techniques going, and I think I finally have some consultations / contacts in this area.
