Join the contemporary blind community for a spirited convention weekend.
Our regional event provides an opportunity to learn new skills, participate
in hands-on workshops, and try new technologies. This family friendly
convention is located at the highly accessible BWI Marriott Conference
Center. This year, our annual business reception will be held in the
exhibitor's hall, on Friday, November 5th.

The fun starts on Friday, November 5, 2010. The exhibit hall opens for
registrants at 5 PM. 'Canes, Canines, and Cocktails,' starts at 6 PM in the
exhibit hall. Join us for appetizers, cash bar, and exhibits. The reception
disperses at 8 PM. Enjoy supper at one of the Marriott's restaurants. On
Saturday, November 6, the general sessions begin at 8:30 AM. The Exhibit
Hall re-opens at 10:30 AM. Lunch is served at Noon. The breakout sessions
start at 1:30 PM. Each session has limited registration available, so be
sure to register without delay! Breakout sessions dismiss at 4:50 PM. We
reconvene for the banquet at 6:00 PM.
Our keynote speaker is Mike Calvo, CEO of Serotek.
The registration fee is a rock-bottom bargain! The $85 fee includes:

which includes fresh sandwich (smoked turkey, buffalo chicken, or tuna),
tri-color rotini pasta, fresh fruit, jumbo home baked cookie, and beverage
Your choice of afternoon breakout sessions Served banquet dinner which
includes entree of seared breast of chicken OR Grilled vegetable Napoleon in
puff pastry, mixed baby greens salad, rice, fresh baked bread, seasonal
vegetables, deep dish caramel apple pie, and Starbucks or Tazo teas.
Convention Program
We have negotiated a bargain rate of $109/night at the BWI Marriott
Conference Center. The hotel includes restaurants, indoor swimming pool,
spacious sleeping rooms with Wi-Fi, business center, free shuttle, and
lovely grounds. The hotel is on the light rail, so family can easily trek to
sightsee in Baltimore. Make reservations directly at 410-859-8300. Be
certain to tell the clerk that you are with the ACB convention to receive
the discounted rate.
