The comments in Gerry’s most recent post to which I am responding are extremely offensive and unacceptable. It is difficult to find the right words to express my disappointment and disgust. The essential point of the message is that with Jessie gone we can move on.  I could write a long drawn out post about Jessie’s many contributions to MSCB over the years; however, I’ll sum it up by saying that were it not for her efforts and hard work this affiliate would not exist today. She poured her heart and soul into this organization. Now a message that amounts to “good-bye and glad to see you gone”…What a slap in the face.  Frankly, I am livid.  I am appalled and saddened that people would stoop to such nasty disrespectful behavior as has occurred on this list in recent weeks.
