Hello everyone,
I have returned from the 2011 MSCB state convention.  We were small in number, but we had a good convention.  Our program speakers were enthusiastic and informative.  We had a variety of exhibits, and Steven Obremski from ACB had a great presentation at the banquet.  At our auction, we raised over $1300.  A more detailed convention review is forthcoming.  The results of our elections are as follows.  
President, Donna Brown
Vice-President, Carol McGhee
Secretary, Ninetta Garner
Treasurer, Dennis Dennison
We would like to thank Kathy Gerhardt for the excellent years of service she gave MSCB as our Treasurer.  Words cannot express everything she has done for MSCB in this position.  We will miss her organization, prompt responses, and valuable input.  
I would also like to take this opportunity to say that my thoughts and prayers are with those members who were not able to attend the convention due to either illness on their part or on that of a family member.  We had several members who were able to attend for this reason.
To all MSCB members, thank you for your service and dedication to this organization.  I will be contacting people to request their serving on committees.
