www.MedicaidCongress.com, will be held on May 30 - June 1, 2012
at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in the Washington, DC area.
The Congress will be offered both onsite and live over the
Internet and this year is co-located with the new
Medicare-Medicaid Payment Incentives and Penalties Summit,

On the afternoon of Day II the Congress will feature
a Mini Summit on dual eligibles, chaired by Suzanne Gore, JD,
MSW, Director of Integrated Care for Dual Eligibles at the Center
for Health Care Strategies in Hamilton, NJ. Together with
updates on readmissions rates for duals and a report from the
California duals initiative, the afternoon will offer two key
panels. Anne Cohen, Associate Director of Disability Access for
Harbage Consulting in Los Altos, CA will lead a panel featuring
consumer advocates and CMS resource people on benefits,
protections, and partnerships for duals; and Mary Kennedy, Vice
President for Medicare and Managed Long-Term Care Policy at the
Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) in Washington,
DC will lead a panel discussing Medicaid Health Plan Core
Competencies for Managing the Disabled and Dual Eligibles.
