[nabs] Guide dog coats?

Hee, I hear you on all counts including how much IL winters suck
as well as a guide dog that gets cold easily.

I actually have an adorable pink hoodie sweatshirt for Mollie,
though it's not all that thick and doesn't offer a great deal of
protection. It's better than nothing though, and she's so
adorable in it!

Check this link out:

I'd check online and google dog coats to see what you come up
with. You'll have better luck buying one online probably because
they sell them in bigger sizes online. I wasn't even sure I'd be
able to find a sweatshirt for a dog Mollie's size, but thank
goodness someone out there recognizes that all dogs get cold, not
just the little bitty ones.

The only concern I have with the one linked above is that there's
no sizing information except for the customer review. You may
need a measuring tape to measure your dog in certain places to
make sure you're buying the right size. Mollie could've worn a
large except for the fact that she's so long, so I needed to get
her an xl size.

Good luck and let us know if you stumble upon something good!

Laura

Hey guys.

I'm on campus a good deal during the winter. Illinois winters
suck in terms
of cold. I'm sure a good deal of you are in the same boat. I
want to try
and keep Railey warm this year. He has sleeker fur than my
previous guide
does. He gets really cold very easy.

Those of you with working dogs, what coats do you recommend to
keep your
furbabies nice and cozy?

Thanks.

Tif
