Ashley,
What I am complaining is the afordability of adaptive technology and equipment for blind person. Basically what the point I am making is two things:
1. recently the President and Congress enacted a tax legislation which basically gives everyone some sort off a tax brake, but there was included to give some sort of a tax brake for blind individuals for perchase of such things as adaptive technology.
2. I am trying to understand how a person who needs such things as a jaws upgrade but can not aford it and is not working in order to perchase it and ride it off on taxes.
3. I would like to see 100 percent tax ride off for the purchase of adaptive technology and equipment directly related to one's disability regardless of if it is for work, education or just to live a more independent life.
4. Finally I would like to see funds available for blind individuals to purchase things as adaptive technology and equipment.
Basically I would like to see some debate and see some action from advocacy organizations such as the ACB to make adaptive technology and or any tools used by blind individuals to live a independent and successful life be made afordable to average blind person living on fixed or limited income.

Anmol
I seldom think about my limitations, and they never make me sad. Perhaps there is just a touch of yearning at times; but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers.
