[nabs] Bookshare Books

If it's a book you just downloaded, it is your current password. I have some books I downloaded on to my computer from several years ago which use the password which was current at the time of the actual download which is different than my current password. It is possible that if you changed your password, you may need to use an older password.

Also, I have run in to books just not opening. In those cases, I've found that going back to bookshare and re-downloading the book solves the problem.

Good luck, and hope that helps.

  Hello,
I was using my Vista computer to unzip it. I tried my password for Bookshare and it didn't work. I'll try again when I need another book. Thanks.

    Hi,

It depends on which device or software you are using to unpack these books. If you are using the newer .zip format, you can unzip it using a computer; it will prompt you for the Bookshare password. I use my BN to do this; in that case, KeySoft prompts for the password when unzipping it.

    Cheers,

    Joseph

    Hi All,

I was wondering if any of you have used the books from Bookshare? If so, did you run into a problem of the book requiring a password to open it? I was going to use one of their books, but I didn't have any clue where to get the "password" it required. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
