No, that was the problem. Every other I have used the database the PDF would just open, but not this time. I tried to save it, but didn't get the article. Finally, I did figure it out, but if I wouldn't have some sight I would have been up the creek, because as usual, the paper is due tomorrow. And of course, when I read the stupid article it wasn't as good as the abstract sounded. Oh well, I think I have enough resources now, so hopefully the actual writing will come as easy as anticipated.

Yvonne,
Are you able to save the pdf file directly to your computer? If
so, then you can open kurzweil and open it through the program.
That' the way I do it and never have any problems.
Let me know if this doesn't work.

Hi Sara and everyone,
I am trying to save a PDF and for some reason the database must
have changed
because I can't figure it out. I tried to do the Kurzweil
printer, but got
an error saying something about it is not set up to scroll. Does
anyone know
how I can find and change the settings for the virtual printer? I
went
through all the menu bars and didn't see anything, and I think
Kurzweil is
closed.
Thanks for any help you can offer,
Yvonne

Hi Yvonne,
There are 2 ways to read them with Kurzweil.
1. With the pdf file open, just hit control P to print. When
the print
dialogue box appears, choose the printer "Kezi virtual printer."
Kurzweil
will open and begin recognizing the document.
2. Have the pdf file closed. Open Kurzweil and then simply open
the pdf file
within the Kurzweil program by going to Kurzweil's File>open.
It'll open
and Kurzweil will recognize it.

Kurzweil. I
