Hey Guys,
Thanks so much! I've been hearing about how I should switch from yahoo for awhile but I might finally do it. But I'll try firefox and see about setting up outlook too.
Laura, I did mention it to the professor, but we haven't used lab for a few weeks so it hasn't come up. I actually have to do some assignments on there now, so I'll probably see how that goes and then email her and talk to her again tomorrow. I can't really email them to her. Although they are in the workbook, but the book is still coming in installments from rfdnb and the workbook section hasn't come yet. Plus, I'm still getting used to doing everything for Spanish through listening hahaha!! Thanks for the suggestion, I'm definitely going to google it.
Definitely helpful :)
Rose

I'd also recommend webvisum/firefox and/or outlook as ways of
coping with the captia. I use gmail which is accessible but also
use outlook express as a mail client just because it makes it
much easier and takes much less time to check emails that way.
As far as the Spanish lab thing... you tried copying and pasting
from word and that didn't work? That would've been my
suggestion. Have you asked your professor about it? S/he may be
willing to accept your assignments in email instead of on the
website somehow? Although if they are exercises, that may not be
practical. Perhaps she can assign alternative exercises from the
book? Just a few ideas.
Also, it's not always fruitful, but it may be worth doing a
google search for "using jaws screen reader with spanishlab.com"
etc.
Good luck.
HTH,
Laura

Also consider using an e-mail client like Outlook or Thunderbird
to avoid
webmail.

Hey Rose,
Regarding the Captcha issue, I recommend Firefox and Webvisum.
Firefox is
another web browser. Webvisum is a Firefox add-on that helps
visually
impaired computer users deal with captchas. There is a demo on
the Blind
Cool Tech site.

There's one thing I need to correct. You do not have to set
firefox as your
default browser.
