[nabs] books

NLS usually only has leasure books available. However, it never hurts to do a search. Just maybe you can find a book for class. Has anyone had good experience finding textbooks on bookshare or autable? I am looking for few books that were written in the 1990s.

Yvonne (and others who may choose to answer) -
If you don't mind me asking, do you use the NLS to access academic materials or just leisure items? 
 
I've used the library at the state level but not the NLS, how are the resources from the NLS? Pros? Cons?
 
Does anyone use their local public library??
