Hi Friend,
It's really funny you should post this, as I got it off of a list
yesterday and was going to do it this afternoon. You beat me to it!
*grin*
This is a truly fantastic organization. I was a part of two Leading
the Way teams; in 2008, I went to the Peruvian Amazon, and last summer
I was part of a pilot program to explore the Maya Rivera and Mexico.
If anyone is interested in this, I definitely recommend applying. The
people at Global Explorers are fantastic and have a vested interest in
promoting independence and social awareness. If you have any
questions/concerns about it, I'd be happy to help, as well. Just drop
me a line.
