Hi Michael,
Just curious, what do you find faster about Gmail in Outlook than
the Web interface? Also, Alicia, I should say that all the
commands I told you about in my last email are only for the Web
version of Gmail, not any email client. If you're using an email
client that your university uses, just disregard my email.

I don't know anything about the specifics of the e-mail system
you're using,
but the first question that comes to mind is
Can you use a client with the e-mail system? If so, you could
avoid the web
interface and use outlook, or the mail features of whatever
notetaker you
have. I personally use outlook with gmail and find it much
faster to access
my mail than if I use the web. Just my $.02

Subject: [nabs] Gmail
Hello All,
Here I am with more questions about this dreaded gmail account
that has been
set up for me by my university. Help! Help! Help! Are my first
impressions
of the gmail service. I am a good computer user and advanced
JAWS user, but
very frustrated with gmail and how it is used. Those of you who
have used
gmail accounts at your university or college, can you please help
me learn
how to use it? I am trying to learn how to use these services and
become as
proficient as possible with it in the next 17 days, as classes
begin on
August 17. I don't really know where to begin, so I don't really
have any
specific questions, maybe accept how do you find the email
messages?
Thanks for any assistance in advance.
Alicia
