Hi everyone,

Some thoughts and answers to questions in today's digest:

>From Tyler Littlefield: Question About Immigration Law

Tyler, I believe it's the Immigration Act or the Immigration Code
or something to that effect. I might need to do a little
research on that.

>From Ann Pimley: Universities Not Providing a Reader/Scribe for
Visual Classes

Ann, but don't the universities have to under either the ADA or
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act or both? I know that the
universities are required to provide access to all information in
the curriculum to people with disabilities.

"The real problem of blindness is not the loss of eyesight. The
real problem is the misunderstanding and lack of education that
exists. If a blind person has the proper training and
opportunity, blindness can be reduced to a mere physical
nuisance." -- Kenneth Jernigan (President of the National
Federation of the Blind, 1968-1986.)
