If you're talking about the Android device, yes. It will have a speech only configuration. I suspect you can make and receive phone calls with this device.

I thought it was something that came with a phone of something quite small, and could non-Braille users benefit from this?

I know the Icon is a notetaker like the braille note. But where do you get the Icon from and does it have a braille keyboard and braille display?

Never seen one.
